Andy Morris is a new player, acquired through manager Jon Cockrell, and who previously plied his trade with Mossley Hill Athletic. Indeed, Andy holds the unique claim as the only Alumni player to have actually scored against Alumni FC (in a game from August 2008). Since arriving, he has contributed both on the field and off (bringing Wes Jean & John Potts with him).

Don’t let his diminutive figure surprise you. He is good in the air, combative and has a great touch. He has weighed in with a number of goals, including a cracker on his debut and another in his second appearance. He has moved up the ranks with great pace and took the man of the match award on his first start for the 1st XI. We all hope that this is just the start of a successful career for Andy at Alumni.
