Alumni Debut:
4th September 2004
v Liobians
Nick was one of the founders of Alumni Football Club and still doubles his role as player with Chairman. On the pitch he is comfortable in any forward position, but given he is quicker with a ball at his feet than most people are without; cutting in from either wing sees him at his most dangerous. From these areas Nick is not only a generous provider of chances for others but also a prolific goalscorer himself.
Nick became the first player to reach fifty goals for the club, reaching this landmark in his 66th appearance v Farnworth in the Northern Cup.
Nick has been a driving force on and off the pitch for Alumni FC. He has been a great chairman, and has progressed the club a long way in its short history. Nick's biggest achievement is without doubt the work he has personally put in to setting up the 2nd XI. It is no mean achievement, and he has personally overseen the venture, investing a lot of time, commitment and dedication.
The second team he cares about on a Saturday - Alumni Reserves, Liverpool
Do mention: pace, Sacre Coeur (away) 2007-08, Cardinal Newman volley 2006
Don't mention: long emails/end of season speeches, heading, supporters on crutches, "i'll cut your face up with a sword"
During the week Law stuff.
