Name: Andy Smillie
Age:24
Place of Birth:Mostyn, North Wales
App: 18
Goals: 7
Past Clubs:

Position - Forward

Andy joined Alumni before their first season in 2004 through a mutual acquaintance to former captain Martin English, and what a find he has proved to be. Comfortable on either wing or up front he is a key provider of goals both in terms of scoring them himself and setting them up - in fact he is likely to be the second player to score fifty goals for Alumni (currently five short) and is by a long way the club’s most prolific supplier of goals for others.

Seeing Andy leave a full back trailing in his wake with an elaborate piece of skill or an unbelievable first touch is a weekly occurrence, and his teammates are grateful for his upbringing in Germany - it's is surely a major contributing factor to the club's 100% record in penalty shoot-outs!

Favourite Alumni Moment - The 2006 Bushell Cup victory 3-1 over Liobians at Wyncote, in which Andy scored twice in the first half, the opener a superb curling effort from a tight angle.

The second team he cares about on a Saturday - Liverpool

During the week - Studying to become a Physiotherapist
